Summer 2023 Aquatics Overview:
(Please note: Aquatic programs will begin posting on May 1, 2023)
Week Day Swim Lessons:
Throughout the summer, there are (3) three-week sessions of swim lessons. Once all of the registrations are received, a schedule will be made and dispersed to participants. For now, an example schedule is attached to the individual swim lesson sessions.
The weeks of each swim lesson session are:
Session 1: June 26, 2023 - July 11, 2023
Session 2: July 12, 2023 - July 27, 2023 (Typically the same weeks as summer school.)
Session 3: July 31, 2023 - August 15, 2023
At the start of the swim lesson season, we begin with a swim assessment of all of the participants. Depending on their swimming abilities presented at the assessment, our Water Safety Instructors will group the participants into swim lesson levels. After each group is formed, a schedule will be given to the individual participants and posted on our website.
Weekend Swim Lessons:
Last year was our first year offering weekend swim lessons and they were a success!
The weekend swim lessons are typically designed for children that do not attend Park Program throughout the week and/or are unable to make our weekday swim lesson times. However, anyone is welcome to sign up and join us!
Weekend swim lessons will occur on Saturday mornings from 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM (pre-school aquatics) and 11:30 AM-12:00 PM (learn to swim). The exact time of your swim lesson will depend on the skills your child presents at their swim assessment at the beginning of the season, as well as your child’s age. Once the swim assessments are complete, a WSI will group the children into their appropriate swim lesson levels. After groups are determined, a schedule will be made and sent out to the registrants, as well as posted on our website.

Swim Lesson Prices:
The price of swim lessons is not included in the price of the Park Program (if your child attends). The prices for the 2023 swim season are:
Resident Fee: $40.00 per session (3 weeks)
Non-Resident Fee: $50.00 per session (3 weeks)
Private Swim Lessons: $60.00/5 lessons
